This page is about my all time favorite movie, The Rocky Horror Picture Show! Wether you've seen it and LOVE it, or you've never seen it at all, I think you will really like this page!! I am gonna put some facts, pictures, and info about the live showing (including my own experience) for those who have never been to a live showing of Rocky. I hope you enjoy!!

"What exactly is Rocky Horror about?"
From an experimental production in a small London theater to a smash international stage hit to a major motion picture, all in the space of 18 months! That's the exciting history of THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW. Running through the story is the sexual confusion of two middle American 'Ike Age' kids confronted by the complications of the decadent morality of the 70's, represented in the person of the mad 'doctor' Frank N Furter, a transvestite from the planet Transexual in the galaxy of Transylvania.
On the way to visit an old college professor, the two clean cut kids, Brad Majors (Barry Bostwick) and his fiancee Janet Weiss (Susan Sarandon), run into tire trouble and seek help at the site of a light down the road. It's coming from the Frankenstein place,' where Dr. Frank N Furter (Tim Curry), a transvestite from the planet Transexual in the galaxy of Transylvania, is in the midst of one of his maniacal experiments - he's created the perfect man a rippling piece of beefcake christened Rocky Horror (Peter Hinwood), and intends to put him to good use (his Own) in his kinky household retinue, presided over by a hunchback henchman named Riff Raff (Richard O'Brien) and his incestuous sister Magenta (Patricia Quinn), and assisted by a tap dancing groupie-in-residence, Columbia (Little Nell).
Agape ill this world of science fiction and fantasy, Brad and Janet don't know what next to Cued, Yell the disastrous result of H previous experiment, an oafish biker unwed Eddie (Meatloaf), plows through the laboratory wall, wailing on a saxophone. Frank puts a permanent end to this musical interruption without thinking twice until the old professor Brad and Janet had set out to visit, Dr. Scott (Jonathan Adams), turns up at the castle in search of his missing nephew, the juvenile delinquent Eddie. He knows that Frank N Furter is an alien spy form another galaxy, and sets out to turn him in, but Frank moves too fast, seducing first Janet, then Brad into his lascivious clutches. Overwhelmed by a newfound libido, Janet hotly attacks the stud Rocky Horror while Brad is under the covers with Frank.
Before Dr. Scott can bring justice and morality into this topsy-turvy Transylvanian orgy, Frank N Furter has turned his captives to stone, in preparation for a new 'experiment' - art all drag revue - when Riff Raff and Magenta reappear in Transylvanian space togs to wrest control of the mission from Frank N Furter, whose lifestyle is too extreme even for his fellow space travelers. When his lavish histrionic claims of chauvanisrn fail to soften up Riff Raff and Magenta, Frank N Furter tries to escape, only to be gunned down by their power rayguns. Rock rushes to save his creator, but he, too, is blasted to outer Space by the militants.
Brad, Janet and Dr. Scott are left in a fog, incapable of readjusting to the normalcy of the life they've left behind in Denton, now that they've tasted the forbidden fruits of the Time Warp.

Going To A Live Showing of Rocky Horror

If you've ever been to a live showing of Rocky, then you know how extremly fun it really is. If you haven't, then what you are about to read, could be of good knowledge to you if you do decide to go. Which I mite add YOU SHOULD!! First and foremost, EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED. But also expect to have lots of fun!! Bring as many people as you can, to make the experience that much more enjoyable. OK, now for the thing that mite scare you. Since this will be your first time, you are whats considered a *virgin* Don't be scared by this at all. You mite have heard some stories about what they do to *virgins* there first time, but trust me its not that bad! Infact, the more fun you have with it, the better sport everyone thinks you are. Also, dont try to hide the fact that you are a *Virgin* because believe me, the people that work there, and people who have been there before, can usually spot a *virgin* at 20 paces. Don't ask me how...Their just good I suppose! They do a thing before the movie starts called *Scarficing the virgins* It differs from theater to theater, but I will tell you its nothing that will cause you physical harm, maybe a little embarrassment, but no physical harm *smile* Once you get through it though, you'll feel better. Mainly because you know you will never have to go through it again! What happend with me and my friends is that we were called up to the front of the stage. We had to pair off. One person stood in front of the other person and had to bend down. The person behind you then had to pretend to be having *anal* sex with you while the entire audience sang *I wish I were an Oscar Myer Weiner* I cant say this will happen to you because like I said it varies from theater to theater. I bet you are wondering what to wear huh? Wear whatever you feel comfortable in. But be sure it goes with the theater rules, which generally means you cant go naked! SORRY! When I went, many people were wearing black, and fishnets. But alot were also wearing just tee-shirts and jeans!! So wear whatever you wish!! The main thing with Rocky is the *Audience Particapation* which means that after certain lines in the movie the audience shouts out things to the screen. Don't worry if you don't know the lines, you'll learn! Just listen to the audience, and next time you go back you'll be suprised at what you remembered. I think thats about everything you need to know before you go to Rocky your first time. Remember, its all about having fun! And as the movie puts it, "Giving yourself over to absolute pleasure!" No body at Rocky will tease you or put you down. They are all there to have fun!! Also remember *Rocky Horror is like sex. You only have one first time, so make the most of it!!*
